A new way of learning! The age in which the pedagogical relationship was conceived as a passive individual receiving knowledge from another person, who decided when and how to give it, is arriving to its end.

Knowledge derived from fields such as, neuroscience, psychology and, communication, have inspired a radical change in the way the learning process is conducted.

Teachers who apply methodologies inspired in the factories of the industrial revolution, which inhibit their audiences, forcing them to assume a passive behavior, belong to the past.

The new learning paradigms integrate the instructional relationship using principles derived from the Accelerated Learning philosophy, as well as from the creativity process, the multi-sensorial stimulation and the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Because organizations are in constant change, the training and development of employees has become more complex. Trainers are required to develop competences to strengthen the capacity of employees in shorter periods of time.

Therefore, in the field of “Training the Trainers”, new paradigms have forced the traditional couple “participant-instructor” to transition from passivity to activity; from “boring” to “fun”; from measuring the IQs to the stimulation of multiple intelligences; from the focus on the visual and hearing channels to the multi-sensorial stimulation.

All of the above are dynamic applications that enhance the individual’s and the group’s capacity for learning.

This holistic approach where many trends and fields converge includes new methodological strategies to conduct the learning process, and it recognizes the adult way of learning, which possesses control in the construction of his/her own knowledge.

This is the theoretical platform we have chosen for the development of our experience of Training the Trainers in Accelerated Learning Techniques. We use approaches from Bill Potter, Robert Pike, Tom Japp, Bobbi DePorter, Howard Gardner, Roger Sperry, Donald Schuster and Mauro Rodriguez Estrada, among others. Additionally, we leverage our trainers’ experience in Adult Learning Processes in various countries from five continents.

This Learning Experience includes both theoretical and practical components. It is based on the principle that learning is more intensively acquired when we do and reflect at the same time. The experience emphasizes the theoretical and practical aspects of the Accelerated Learning philosophy, although principles and assumptions from various fields are addressed, the main focus is that the Learning Partner applies the acquired knowledge in real and concrete training situations.
